General FAQs

If you've landed on this page, Welcome! This is to give you a bit of background about learning Japanese at St Paul's. First, if your child doesn't know any Japanese, don't worry. Second, they have plenty of time to catch up. Third, it's lots of fun!

My child is new and doesn’t know Japanese…help!

  • We have new students all the time at St Paul’s. We are used to guiding them through the process.

  • As an added bonus, they have a 6 month exemption period from any results or testing, to help them to ease into their learning.

  • With our differentiated program, we are used to providing for students at different entry points.

  • That being said, if your child is still not coping after the 6 month “settling-in” period, please bring it to my attention or I might initiate a conversation with you
